Lisa designs and paints her original art pieces out of her home studio in the East Bay. She has a B.F.A. from the University of Michigan. Drawing from her 20+ year background in graphic and brand identity design, her painted work has a bold and minimal graphic style with a focus on shape, color and typography. She uses Adobe Illustrator to plan out each piece, and then translates each design to the canvas using professional acrylic paints and wedges to create a unique scraped texture. Mid-century modern architecture and interior design, pop art, as well as Bauhaus imagery inspire her work.
